I have put together a proposal for naming Martyn's 82 Eridani system. This scheme is primarily aimed at making it easier, and more literate, for participants to refer to the star and planets. It is not intended to preclude our sophonts from naming their own planet, star and solar system in their own language when the time comes.
I have chosen a binding thread from the names of Celtic and Gallic deities. This particular pantheon will allow us plenty of room for growth in naming planetary satellites should they be developed. I have added a brief description of the god or goddess where relevant.
